Russia Keeps Door Open for Ukraine Peace Deal

(MENAFN) Russia maintains readiness for a diplomatic resolution to the Ukraine conflict, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declared Wednesday.

Peskov affirmed that pathways toward a negotiated settlement remain accessible, though Russia will sustain its special military operation until "appropriate decisions are taken by Kiev."

He noted that Russian forces continue targeting facilities linked to Ukraine's military-industrial infrastructure.

The spokesman emphasized Russia's stance on Ukraine is transparent and thoroughly comprehended by both Kiev authorities and U.S. negotiators engaged in trilateral discussions.

Delegations representing Russia, Ukraine, and the United States launched trilateral negotiations Wednesday in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The preceding session of the trilateral working group addressing security matters in Abu Dhabi, the UAE capital, spanned two days from January 23-24.
