Trump calls on DOJ to investigate the 2020 presidential election

(MENAFN) US President Donald Trump has called on the Department of Justice (DOJ) to open an investigation into the 2020 presidential election, once again alleging that the vote was “Rigged and Stolen.”

“What’s worse, the NBA Players cheating at cards, and probably much else, or the Democrats cheating on Elections? The 2020 Presidential Election, being Rigged and Stolen, is a far bigger SCANDAL,” Trump wrote Sunday on his Truth Social platform.

He went on to add, “Look what happened to our Country when a Crooked Moron became our 'President!' We now know everything.”

Trump urged the Justice Department to pursue the matter vigorously, saying it should investigate the 2020 vote “with as much 'gusto' as befitting the biggest SCANDAL in American history.” He warned that failing to act could lead to similar issues in the future, stating, “If not, it will happen again, including the upcoming Midterms.”

In his post, Trump also reiterated his opposition to mail-in and early voting, called for stricter voter identification laws, and criticized California’s election procedures, alleging that millions of ballots were being “shipped.”

“GET SMART REPUBLICANS, BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE,” he concluded.
