Houthis Pledge to Keep Firing Missiles at Israel
During a speech marking the religious observance of Ashura, Houthi leader Abdulmalik al-Houthi declared the group would “spare no effort in confronting the enemy with our brothers in the axis of resistance and Jihad.”
He emphasized that Houthi forces would persist in launching ballistic missile attacks targeting Israel until two conditions are met: the cessation of military operations in Gaza and the lifting of the blockade restricting food supplies to Palestinians.
Since November 2023, the Iran-aligned group has fired a series of long-range drones and ballistic missiles at Israel, framing the attacks as acts of solidarity with Palestinians amid the ongoing Israel-Hamas war in Gaza.
