Gaza Bleeds: Israel Kills Over Twenty Palestinians Seeking Aid

(MENAFN) At least 25 Palestinians, including individuals trying to access food aid, were killed and hundreds more injured during renewed Israeli attacks across Gaza on Wednesday, according to medical sources cited by a Palestinian news agency.

An Israeli strike on Al-Mansoura Street in the Shejaiya neighborhood, located east of Gaza City, resulted in the deaths of three Palestinians and left others wounded.

In the Nitzarim area of central Gaza, eight people were fatally shot while attempting to collect humanitarian assistance.

Medical teams reported recovering three bodies and rescuing five survivors from beneath the rubble of two homes in Jabalia Al-Nazla, northern Gaza, after an Israeli airstrike. Some victims remain trapped under the debris.

Another Israeli assault targeted two houses in Deir al-Balah and the Nuseirat refugee camp in central Gaza, killing ten Palestinians and injuring additional civilians.

Rescue workers also retrieved the body of a young man from Abasan, a town in eastern Khan Younis in southern Gaza.

Since October 2023, Israel has maintained a relentless military campaign against Gaza, dismissing international calls for a ceasefire. This offensive has claimed over 56,000 Palestinian lives, predominantly women and children.

In a significant legal development last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, accusing them of war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza.
